Spartan Partners With RACE RESULT for World-Class Timing Technology
Presented by Spartan Training®

Spartan, the world’s leading endurance sports and extreme wellness brand, will be using RACE RESULT’s timing technology at its events. At all 250 Spartan races across 40 countries, RACE RESULT systems and transponders will ensure reliable data processing and uncomplicated handling of timing equipment.

“We are very happy about the new cooperation,” said Amaury Da Costa, Spartan’s Senior Director of Technology Systems. “Our events are based on sophisticated logistics. That's why we need partners whose products can be perfectly integrated into our processes. RACE RESULT timing systems are particularly quick to set up and easy to use. Also, we can seamlessly interchange registration and timing data between our solutions. This enables us to operate more efficiently and innovate further.”

The timing at Spartan events is carried out with active transponders, which the participants wear on their wrists. The transponders are particularly robust and 100% waterproof, and they work under extreme conditions. Results are published on Spartan.com and are used for series rankings.

“Two innovation leaders have met here,” says RACE RESULT CEO Soenke Petersen. “I felt that from the first moment. Spartan puts a lot of effort into continually elevating the athlete experience. We can contribute with our solutions, which makes us proud. More than a million people take part in Spartan events every year and benefit from our cooperation.”
