The core race medals feature a unique interior color corresponding to the distance you accomplished, telling the world that you’ve conquered one of the toughest races on Earth.

Stadion (5K, 20 Obstacles): This short but intense race transforms historic arenas into obstacle battlegrounds. Finishers earn a bright yellow medal that embodies the speed and agility required to conquer this test.
Sprint (5K, 20 Obstacles): The original Spartan race, the Sprint, rewards its finishers with a bold red medal, representing your first step into the world of obstacle racing.
Super (10K, 25 Obstacles): The Super dials up the challenge with double the distance and tougher challenges. Its blue medal symbolizes the endurance needed to overcome this demanding course.
Beast (21K, 30 Obstacles): The Beast is the ultimate test of both mind and body. Those who complete this half marathon earn a prestigious green medal, our signature color proving perseverance and grit.

Ultra Belt Buckle: The Ultra is the ultimate Spartan race, spanning 50 kilometers with 60 obstacles. Those who finish the Ultra receive a unique belt buckle medal – a Spartan tradition that sets Ultra finishers apart. Wear it proudly because it shows you’ve gone farther than most would even dream.
Age Group Podium Medals: Spartans who place on the podium in their age group earn a special medal reflecting their rank – first, second, or third.
Trifecta Weekend Medal: Completing a Trifecta weekend – finishing a Sprint, Super, and Beast (or Ultra!) in a single weekend – will earn you the legendary Trifecta Weekend medal. This coveted medal is a massive achievement, and shows you’ve joined the ranks of some of the toughest Spartans.
Multiple Trifectas – Collect More Than One: Achieving the Trifecta once is already a monumental task, but completing two or more Trifectas in a single year adds extra prestige. Each additional Trifecta you complete in 2025 earns you an additional medal, showing your grit as a Trifecta chaser.
National Series Medals: Racers who participate in Spartan's National Series events earn exclusive medals only available at these prestigious races. It’s a way of marking your participation in the top-tier competitions and showcasing your commitment to the Spartan challenge.
Honor Series Medals: We also have exclusive medals for those who race in the Honor Series, designed to distinguish these races as tributes to military personnel and first responders.
