Workout of the Day: Strength: May 31, 2017
TEXAS HOLD’EM

Today we are gonna ask you to hold on when you feel it’s time to let go. Lack of grip strength has lead to many a strong Spartan doing a 30 burpee penalty.
Warm-up
Main set
- 2 minutes dead hang
- 10 push-ups (hold each rep for 5 seconds at the top)
- 10 squats (hold each rep for 5 seconds at the bottom)
- 10 pull-ups (hold each rep for 5 seconds at the top)
- 10 standing broad jumps (hold the landing, don’t stumble past)
3 rounds.
Cool Down:
- Stretch
Beginner Version: Perform main set for 1 round.
Advanced Version: Perform main set 5 rounds.
