Today, we’re going to do some supersets, or a combination of two or more seperate exercises performed one after the other as one set. It’s not always fun, but it will take your training to the next level and get your ready for the taxing demands a Spartan race will put on your body.
Warmup
Stretch and foam roll
Supersets
Wall-sit x 30 seconds Bear Crawl x 25 yards Rest < 1min Perform this superset x 3
Hollow Hold x 30 seconds Glute Bridges x 10 Pushups x 10 Rest < 1 minute Perform this superset x 3
Cool Down
Stretch
Beginner Version: Increase rest periods. Perform only 2 supersets. Advanced Version: Decrease rest periods. Perform 5 supersets and go for a 10- to 20-minute tempo run afterward.
