Why Curiosity Improves Mental Toughness
Curiosity is a key to mental toughness training. Getting curious is the unsung hero of mental tenacity. Sometimes our ego likes to play first man and we close ourselves off to the wisdom, expertise, and knowledge of others. But the truth is, when we do this we are actually closing ourselves off to growth, expansion, and enlightenment.
The more available we are to learning and taking in what others have to offer the more we can fill our mind with the ‘good stuff’ and rid ourselves of the junk.

Curiosity should be part of your mental toughness training. When you open your mind up to new ideas and become available to the wisdom, expertise and knowledge of others, you begin to weed out the junk that's in your head.
Ask your wisdom buddy questions: How did you get here? How was that done? What was your process? This will help you elevate your own understanding and weed out the junk and free up the important space you need in your head to be more mentally tough and focus you energies on performance. What are the ways you can become more curious? Listening to podcasts, reading books, and asking questions.
