This December, the 2022 Spartan Kids World Championship, hosted by Visit Sebring, is coming to the greater Sebring, Florida area.

The 2022 Spartan Kids World Championship Weekend Schedule

The championship races are set to begin Saturday, Dec. 10, where the globe’s toughest kids will face over 25 obstacles along a roughly 3-mile course composed of dirt, mud, grass, and even slight water crossings. The World Championship races, which require prior qualification, will begin with boys aged 12 to 14 at 9 a.m., followed by boys aged 9 to 11, girls aged 12 to 14, and girls aged 9 to 11.

The remainder of the one-of-a-kind Dec. 10-11 weekend will feature plenty of Open and Competitive races for the kids, along with the Central Florida Trifecta Weekend, which includes Sprint (5K, 20 obstacles), Super (10K, 25 obstacles), and Beast (21K, 30 obstacles) races.

This weekend presents the perfect opportunity for the entire Spartan family to conquer badass courses and cheer each other on toward victory together.

The Road to the 2022 Spartan Kids World Championship

Young Spartans qualifying for and competing in World Championship heats will compete for a share of $20,000 in prizes, plus the evergreen bragging rights of being a Spartan Kids World Champion.

“These kids have proven themselves to be the best of the best in our sport,” Spartan CEO Joe De Sena said. “They’re fast. They’re tough. They’re unbreakable. They’re all in for an adventure, testing their limits. And they get to share the adventure with their parents in an atmosphere that brings out the best in everyone.”
