features
The ultimate anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant tea.
Its taste is similar to light, sweet sage and it’s rich in phenol, phyto-nutrients and flavonoids which reduce oxidative stress on par with green tea, except it’s caffeine-free. Key studies have shown its efficacy in combating colds and respiratory problems, gastrointestinal issues, and even depression. Simply boil the flowers and stems in water for a few minutes.
For you who are made of iron.
Near Sparta, Greece lie wild plantations of the flowering Sideritis plant which have been harvested, sun-dried, and boiled for millennia. Theophrastus wrote that the tea had such powerful medicinal properties, it could heal wounds caused by iron weapons. Consume anytime, but it’s best after training and racing, a hard day at work, a big meal, or when ill.
